I attended a teen retreat on Nov. 14th at the Hornet Nest along with 31 PLCMC staff members. Michele Gorman gave the opening speech on the successes of teen services and the vision for making it more successful for 2008. All branches received grant money from the Bank of America Grant, and WBL has $173.74. We are looking for ways to improve the summer reading registration as well as establishing a good relationship with youth services. I presented a Battle of the Books power point game titled “Name that Book”. We will meet again in May at the IMG. If you have any ideas for teen programs at WBL let me know.
